How Executive OS handles your data
What is stored
- Your Google name and email, used to open your private workspace.
- Meeting notes you import, suggested and kept commitments, due dates, and your planning preferences.
- For Google accounts you connect: the calendars you select and busy events from yesterday through the next two weeks. Refresh tokens are kept in Google Secret Manager, never in the database or browser.
- For Slack accounts you connect: direct messages to you, messages that mention you and messages in channels you choose to follow, with their author, conversation and link. Other Slack messages are never stored. Slack tokens are kept in Google Secret Manager.
- Processing history, daily usage counters and feedback you choose to give.
Who can see it
Your workspace is private to your Google sign-in. Browsers cannot read the database directly; every request is checked on the server. Executive OS never sends messages, shares your data or writes to your calendar.
AI review is optional
AI review is off until you turn it on for a context (work or personal). When on, new and re-analyzed notes in that context are sent to OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to, with a request that providers not collect the data. That request is not a guarantee of zero retention by those providers. Without AI review, notes stay within Executive OS.
How long it is kept
- Notes, commitments, preferences and connections: until you delete them.
- Slack messages in your attention inbox: 30 days, or until you disconnect Slack.
- Calendar snapshots: replaced on every sync and removed on disconnect.
- Finished processing history: 30 days. Usage counters: 35 days.
- Feedback: 365 days.
Deleting your data
Delete a note from its source view. Disconnecting a Google account revokes Executive OS’s access and deletes its stored tokens and calendar data; disconnecting Slack revokes access and deletes its token and inbox messages. Deleting your account in Settings removes your whole workspace. You can also remove Executive OS from your Google account’s third-party connections at any time.
